A good place to start is to look into what local scholarships are available. The school’s financial aid office or the academic advisers have the best information available on the programs through the state and the school. Students need to find out information about scholarships that can help with college expenses during the student assignment portion, and programs that are designed to help with student loan forgiveness. Even though education scholarships are smaller than national awards, it is important not to overlook this financial aid assistance.

National continuing education scholarships are designed for future teachers, or students that are seeking out a specific subject of teaching.
